The Jesus Storybook Bible.

No, the Bible isn’t a book of rules, or a book of heroes. The Bible is most of all a Story. It’s an adventure story about a young Hero who comes from a far country to win back his lost treasure. It’s a love story about a brave Prince who leaves his palace, his throne—everything—to rescue the one he loves. It’s like the most wonderful of fairy tales that has come true in real life.

Our kids were graciously gifted this Bible a few weeks ago by our friend Joshua. It's beautifully written, bringing all Bible stories to your kids in a way they'll understand without skimping on the truth. The illustrations are darling. I can't rave enough about it. I have to share this with you today as I am studying Mark 10:13-16.
In those three short verses Jesus gives children equality, importance & love. All three of which they did not always  have in the ancient world (and now).

I looooooove this book! Purchased it for myself about four years ago and can't wait to have children to share it with.
