This is our neighbor's dog, Hobbes. He's one of the most loving little dogs I've ever met. He's got a HUGE personality. He's a very obedient little guy, for the most part, he'll sit outside his owners door and watch the world go by.
He has learned that my kids like to bring him snacks. Hobbes now loves my kids. He loves them to the point of wandering into my house this weekend. He came in, helped himself to all of Earl's food that was on the floor (Earl is messy) & a few drinks of water. Wandered the house, got some pets and attention from the kids. He wouldn't leave! I had to carry him back downstairs. :)
Naturally the kids were thrilled with our little canine visitor.

Homemade Dog Treats
We have two neighboring apartments with dogs. The couple right next to us have the tiniest little chihuahua I've ever seen and what I'm guessing is a corgi mix. Our neighbors directly below us (bless their hearts, they get the brunt of two children running, a dog leaping and cats jumping all day) have a sweet little pug named Hobbes. I decided to make some dog treats for them. The recipe is super simple and easy to do. The kids helped me. Earl sampled. Here's what they looked like:

P.S. Please note the flowers in the picture, my sweet husband brought me flowers for no reason yesterday. :)
